Adobe Software

Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC are photo editors that are used to enhance or manipulate images or other artistic applications.

As I am accustom to Lightroom it  has been my preference to use it however, I have come to appreciate the value of Photoshop for intricate and artistic manipulation of images.

Image adjustment in Adobe Lightroom

Most images are imported from a camera, PC or a memory source directly into all Adobe editors, These images may need some adjusting or editing, prehaps a minor or major adjustment, edit or manipulation depending on taste, brief or flair. Image perfection is what we should strive for. I personally prefer to to capture an image that that is as close to perfect as I can and use editors lightly.

Image Ajustments may include exposure adjustment, hue, contrast, sharpening, noise reduction, etc.. We can also create Black and white or Sepia conversions or prehaps some spot healing.

Image manipulation-B/W conversion

The Black and White adjustment lets you convert a colour image to grayscale while maintaining full control over how individual colours are converted. You can also tint the grayscale by applying a colour tone to the image (Monochrome) is when only one shade of grey is applied.
